crank no start

So I just thought of this. Would having swapped engines out of a 93 ranger into a 92 ranger require me to use the computer in the 93 as well?

I’ve replaced my crankshaft position sensor twice now, replaced both coil packs, DIS module, and a couple other things and still cannot get spark from the coils. Not sure what it is Any ideas? Truck is a 92 Ranger 2.3 5 speed XLT

Hi. I'm a new owner of an old Ranger. and the biggest problem i'm having with it is trying to figure out why it starts fine in the morning, then once its up to running temp, it wont restart after it sits 10-20 minutes. i get a crank with no start. it'll run on starting fluid until it runs out...
