My credo
Confused and Intolerant
Well, I dont know how many of you have never use an impact wrench before, but I found my dad's and started in on taking the front fenders off my 84.

Well, this happened:

I am that dumb...

I cut to the bone. Thanks to Ford little clips they love to use to fold the bolts for the fenders on, mine all broke and I, (being my sick/tired self:icon_twisted:) grabbed to hold and turned the air-impact wrench....

4 days in this now: :sad: harder to weld now, but whatever... wont stop me

I am that dumb...

This was the culprit:
I am that dumb...

grrr:annoyed:

Fords clips are not at fault here, you should have known better...

Does it make me any dumber if I did the same thing, but I was using a ratchet? I was at the wrecking yard getting a sway bar off a Ranger, and wanted to move the fuel tank over a little to get to the bolt in the side of the frame. It spun, so I tried to hold it and cut the hell out of my finger. I didn't realize I had done it until the blood started dripping. Oh well, live and learn.

cool! looks like mine! happened 3 months ago almost and it still isnt all the way healed. i was back in the garage the next day, had 2 fractures in it too
I am that dumb...

I watched my brother in law slam some tools sown on his finger... Of course accidentally but I'm like WTF did you do that for... It pays to not do drugs. Lmao

my cut went down very deep, like I said, I was looking at the bone, was lucky I didn't have to get stitches, I was hungry and I got the cut right before dinner.

Oh, and I was in the ER, and it took them 2 hours to get to me..... and luckily my dad had wrapped my finger good, he has had a number of accidents. My first time to the hospital too =) oh, and also, i mainly went JUST because I needed a Tetnis Shot

A couple weeks ago a guy my brother works with was opening a tote with a knife and slipped and caught his left hand. Cut both flexer tendons for his pointer finger and missed a big nerve by 3mm.

He is off work until early June, and at best will only have 80% of the strength back in that finger. :shok:

If you don't bleed on your first build, you will bleed on your second...better to get the wailing and gnashing of teeth out of the way so you can move forward...and not, necessarily towards the hospital...again...:)

I've damaged quite a bit of my surface area skin...probably could get little tattoos written beside some of them with arrows

-> wrench slipped...
-> nut broke...

etc

Only hit the hospital cause I needed a tetnis shot
