just got me a can today anybody got any tips to help make it turn out good?

sand down the part a little, step up to pretty fine grit sandpaper. shoot the nightshade to whateever darkness you want, shot a couple coats of clear and wetsand until perfectly smooth.

do really light coats. like mom always said. you can always go back for more

use ammonia free windex to get all of the oils and gease off of the lights

my taillights were new when i did them, so i wiped them down with wax and grease remover then hit them with a microfiber towel to get any leftover lint off, then shot 2 coats on them and called it good. just take your time and work in as close to a dust free area as you can when youre painting, and do one coat at a time cause its easy to overspray it and make it run, ask me how i know (at least it was on the gfs truck and not mine) heres some sample pics, i did the tails when they were new, but the front marker lights are the originals from 1994.
