Project SVT

at least you have parts on hand to start....I don't:thefinger:

l8r, John

You got a whole truck frame to swap!!!
Get after it already! You been talking about doing it for months!!

Update, I got some of my parts in that I ordered....I ordered a set of Johnny Joints 9/16 diameter hole, 1.25 diameter shank. Might be a little overkill, but better to be too big than too small. To give you an idea of how big these monsters are, here is a pic next to a sprite...

so... scince u already kinda gave a bit away i know your going to dana 60 front and somthign with 20" rims. im gonna say military tires with the beadlocks.

what rear end and such is happening?

Originally I had planned to build a 609 for the front and a 9105 for the rear, but the budget is taking a big hit (yes, this stage is being done on a tight budget!!), so the front for now will stay an HP 60 king pin, the rear most likely will still be 9105. I wanted to run a 40 spline rear, but I can't find anyone that can make a 40 spline full floater. I talked to Moser, they said that the problem with this is that the full float shaft is physically not large enough for the diameter of 40 splines :annoyed: So the rear will be a spooled 35 spline, the front I'm trying to E-lock it. Gears for now might stay stock, but I'm wanting to go at least 5.38's, maybe even a little deeper...

what the hell would you need a 40 spline axle for????

a very large tire or a stupid amount of power! im hoping for both

What?? I gotta keep the other fans in suspense :D

Copperhead,
Jeremy said "I's got cash now and will take the 60s for my jeep if they're driver drop. Rick don't need no more stinking 60s!"
