I'm talking EVERYTHING from steering to brake lines, from brackets to fab work :icon_welder: I searched the tech lib alot but couldn't find a complete guide or complete list. I want all the parts ready to go so I can continue to use my DD the next day with no problems. What companies offer complete kits that are reliable/ what are people opinions about them? :dunno:

I only buy stuff that someone else has already gotten before (sometimes I pioneer but when it comes to my DD, I tend not to take the risk).

Once I figure out everything needed and get all the parts, im going to make a video of the install and hopefully add to the library! :icon_thumby:

Thats not easy to answer since there are several ways to do each thing.

go with a complete skyjacker kit, add shocks and extended brake lines as well as camber bushings so you can get it aligned.

I would like to have a stage 3 james duff kit but its lookin like skyjacker because price. Be careful of some kits the drop brackets will punch a hole right in your front diffy if you get to western with it.

Crescent wrench. You will need at least 2. One standard, one metric.

what about the steering? is it ok to just leave it as is or is there something to be done to it? And I read about f-250 shock mounts for a duel shock set up? I don't know a ton about suspension but love to learn.

Now, if only it were the matter of making it faster, I would have no troubles :icon_thumby:

stonecrusher steering would be the ideal answer!

you could probably get by with the skyjacker extreme drop pitman arm...maybe...

it says it comes with a drop pitman arm. so you're good there. i'd get it lifted first and then mod it from there. just search through the forums here and see what other people have done. here's a good one

he only did a 4" lift but it's the same thing

Id rather do everything right (not saying the pitman drop wouldn't be right) for reliability and control and spend some extra money, but not a fortune.

What size crescent wrenches and what part are they used for?

Left or right handed ones?

I'm actually not sure. I'm ambidextrous and dyslexic. That's a very interesting combination when it comes to figuring out left and right.
