Gt-12

That looks like one of my go-carts I built in high school...
SVT

So many Imports are converting their Integras & Civics to RWD lately...they must see this and go ape shit.

Funny, I thought with the car the way it is e-brake initiation would not be necessary to drift, just prodigious amounts of throttle:D
probably not even so prodigious:D

here in calgary, surprisingly, it's been weeks since a notable fall, and when i mean notable, an amount you would notice over the snow that's already on the ground... the streets have been clear, and i haven't seen a plow or sander for probably 3 weeks!

this has been our biggest snow fall of the year...

wet snow yesterday then a cold snap over night.it's a big skating rink out there!
Glad to see a man of your calibre still does this!! I thought it was just me that sat in or on my half built projects holding up steering wheels or handlebars and making appropriate noises...joking apart, I often find it's where the best inspiration comes from to keep going. Love the trans' tunnel - mine's fibreglass and carpet underlay for insulation - have you got the room for adding any sound deadening, that could get noisy in there!

Still keeping an eye on this build, would love to join in the banter more often but the difference in time zones sometimes means the moment has gone - are you six hours behind or eighteen ahead? - anything a man of your abilities can do about that?
that fiberglass factory tunnel is a bit of a joke, isn't it.i did leave a bit of room for insulation in there, for sound and heat control.

of course i do the vroom vroom test, that's a very important part of any build,it let's you know if you'll be able to enjoy your creation and visuallise any adjustments that need to be made.:icon_thumby:

and even if the time difference keeps you out of the thick of it,let's hear your comments.especially coming from someone that has one of these things, you've got a good insight on what i'm up against.

see....that's why i wanted to keep the cam covers under the hood.

and the fuel line out of the grill.

i was reading up on the updates i missed over the course of last week and this build jogged my memory of something from my horribly missguided import tuner phase in highschool

Does it still count as an import tuner if it has a blown big block?

:icon_rofl:

i think despite that being a v8 they had even worse space restrictions, i owned a CRX back in HS and even the 1.6 4 banger left little to no room in the engine bay

ya,at least i've got a long hood on the gt.i bet that thing would be pretty squirley to drive-if it didn't just flip backwards.

ahh yes, the went dump then freeze overnight, regardless of how far north you are, that is one thing i remember from vancouver when i lived there! lol

APPARENTLY the crx/civic platform accepts the 302 quite well, i think a little bit of modification to the "driveshaft tunnel" is required, as it's more a shifter linkage tunnel on the civic, but the motor fits under the hood... there were a few 302HO civics running around... not nearly as many as there were b2200 with 80's ferrari testarossa wings on the bedsides and 302HO's... though, sadly they all kept the stock rear diff with the conversion because they dum

Wait a minute..... the CRX/Civic's aren't front wheel drive?

the crx/civic yes, they are fwd, but the b2200's aren't... they are a pickup and like all pickups worth buying, are rwd (take THAT honda!)

ha ha....you used the words 'pickup' and 'honda' in the same sentence:icon_rofl:

waddabout 'frame':D

i'll FRAME this scenario for you, what if it was a HONDA PICKUP that was fwd with a v8.

oh god i feel like i killed a kitten.
