right now my plans aren't set in stone.....my first donor fell through so working on another.....

next 2 weeks will solidify what I am doin.....

alright....I have been gathering parts......

so far I have D44 TTB beams....should be getting a complete D50 TTB this weekend with a matching rear axle from the same truck.....
will be making a hybrid D50 useing the D44 beams.....

plans were to rebuild the D50 and rear axle to put in my daily driver F250.....then use the axles out of my F250 and put them into the Ranger.......but depending on the actual condition of the donor parts I may just put the stuff directly on the Ranger....

I know my F250's axles are in good condition....just figured rebuilt for the DD would be better for me in the long run.....

also getting a "new" frame from the JY to replace my "swiss cheese" one....so I can do all the suspension mods on the new frame to minimize downtime and still play with the "old" set up.....can't stand to not be able to wheel

once the frame is complete I will be making a new bed to replace the beat up stocker.....though it won't be a tube style like Greg or Jon's.....

so now ya know my plans......

and 4.0B2....you do know you are only 3+ hours from Turkey Bay don't ya....you should join us for the weekend sometime.....since I know it only takes my wife around 3 hours to get to Memphis for her work....

As of yesterday Grandpa Railman's projects went on hold!
He's got a new one Grandson; Conner Riley born 12:55pm, 7.5 lbs, 19 3/4"!!

Sounds like a chip off the Old Block at that weight & length!!!
Better get to figure out a trail tested & approved JR seat for that Trail Rig & The Tow Rig!!!!
