Rectangle Fog Lights for 2001 Ranger XLT Supercab 4-Door 3.0L

Can anybody find online me a pair of Rectangle Fog lamps that would fit my Rectangle slots in my bumper.. I can only find the round lights,which would fit in the round slots of a different bumper type on the 01 ranger XLT ... I have looked and looked and I cannot find any .. PLEASE HELP!! PLEASE!!!

u cant find those fog lights, because they dont exist.

only the Edge and 4x4 models had fog lights

If You do a little work you may be able to the square lights from the '04-'07 rangers to fit.

Hey, Bro. Are you talking about this?

I bought this valance and the lights on Ebay. The Ebay sellers ID is Autosdepot. If these are the lights you need they sell them. I have not installed the valance yet on my 99 but I need to get motivated and put it on. My stock valance does not have holes for lights and I just wanted to add some. That is why I bought this set up. It is really nice.

I am talking about the lights. These are the same lights his bumper uses, correct? He can try the Ebay seller and see if these will work with his cutout holes.

I really appreciate the info and help guys .. Yes , That is the Exact bumper I am talking about .. So they never manufactured an 01 XLT, with lights to fit these cut holes? .. I do think that is rather dumb , but im sure they must have had a reason for it .

More or less that bumper is used for base models, and company trucks.

I am kinda set back though .. In my ranger , underneath and behind the bumper it has the Wire harness for the lights and behind the center console trim and DIN is the opposite end of that same harness, w/ the male/female plug end for the toggle switch .. I am confused as to what the ( explicit ) ford was thinking .. This model is loaded with options, just not the fog lights ... But the truck has the harness already in place so all I would need to do is find the lamps ( if the '00 fog lamps would fit ) and get the/a factory/after market button/toggle switch ..

Am I odd that if I see my truck has roughly 60% of an "option", that I would want my truck to have the complete version of that specified option?

The Rangers lights are bright enough , I just think the truck would look OH so much more attractive with the fog lamps ...

See , I have the Harness .. Just a matter of figuring out if the 98-00 Fog Lamps will fit ... I need to know the dimensions of those lenses .. the cut holes in my bumper are from 6.5 x 3.5 or 7 x 3.5 .. or around that ..

or fit some round universal fogs. like some members have done.
or some rectangulars. like this member

i dont recomend u to get a round fog light valence because ull need the bumper too.

im not sure if the 98-00 fogs would fit.

i think that with some work u can cut and fit the 04 fogs in there.

or go crazy, get a 4wd valance and cut the "horns" that go up on the wheel wells so u can fit it on your existing bumper

I am confused as to what the ( explicit ) ford was thinking ..

They were thinking that its cheaper to make one dash and light harness than make one for every version of the available options.

Thank you guys for answering my forum questions so far .. I am new to the whole ford ownership "genre", after leaving Chevrolet behind, in my past..

Did you happen to look at my pic of behind my bumper? Also If I purchase round universals; will they sell me the plastic,metal or whatever surrounding pieces so it they will fit in my 6.5 x 3.5 cut holes or will I be forced into boring larger holes or purchasing a new valance/bumper?

well ull be stuck with the holes without surrounding, unless u fit em so tight on the hole that jst the lenses can fit in the hole. get what i mean?
