Got pulled over for the first time today....

I haven't had my insurance go up at all... I have gotten one speeding ticket, pulled over about 5 times for speeding, 2 citations that I took care of and 2 accidents that were not my fault. I actually found out I have pretty cheap insurance for being an alaskan teen male.

I was driving naked with one of my bobcats in my Jeep last month and a really nice looking babe cop pulls me over for leaving my turn signal on after I made a turn. Can you believe that?? A hot looking lady cop? .....lol

The first time I got pulled over was for no tails. I got home, told my g/f (at the time) and she said she's know for about a week and just didn't say anything.

I almost punched her for that.

my trucks got over 292000 kms on it and runs strong. Never has stalled on me (ecxept from learning standard on it, of course :P). It all depends on how it was treated before. Guess i got lucky.

I would question what is and why it is new in the front end. I have had a ranger over 230k, a bronco approaching 190k, and an explorer approaching 150k. You have to take care of them. If they weren't looked after before you, they will not treat you well. Be careful and look at EVERYTHING. All fluids, all panels, underbody, and anything else you can set your eyes on. Best of luck!

Apparently, the place he changes his oil at had said that all of that was bad, so he replaced ball joints, tie rod ends, and wheel bearings. He also had a new clutch and slave cylinder installed as well.

I think I would ask what brand of parts he used with the ball joints, tie rods, and wheel bearings. Maybe ask to see receipts. If he used Valucraft Chinese junk, you'll be doing it again within a year or two. The guy who had mine "just had the bearings done" and I had to redo them 9-10 months after I bought it because it had Chinese crap in it.

Depends on the state, but I've never even had actual speeding tickets affect my insurance. Here the only time they check is if you change insurance companies.
