Gt-12

I think someone should do an offsite save of this thread. If the server crashes and we lose it it will be a disaster.

Yup, dont need any more of those! And yes, theres a wealth of knowledge in this thread.

yeah, that's the dodge tomahawk... they made it so they could say they took a viper v-10 and put it on a motorcycle frame, but depending on who you talk to, it's controversial if it's actually a bike or not, because if you take a look... it's actually got 4 wheels...

Yup, and it would be kind of unstable at lower speeds. Apparently you "turn" the forks as opposed to leaning into a curve. Either way, cool for a V10 and way too much power and weight to be practical. It's a "look at me" bike.

Gwaii, dude congrats on the 50K views. I think I attributed to probably 10K, from my & other computers!

Nice progress of the car. It's nice to see artwork come to life, huh?

Since someone brought up the idea of an Isetta I thought I'd better make a comment on it not being such a great idea. Why? because an Isetta at sixty miles an hour is scary as hell, even more so if it's windy or if you hit a bump in the road.

Not once you weight it down with 800# of engine

two points-one,i didn't think an isseta could even do 60....,

and two-i bet you're the only one on this site that's been in one:icon_thumby:

A friend of my mother used to have one. The motor blew up and I was asked to rebuild it. No problem, ripped it apart and took the parts to the machine shop I used to use for doing engine work and told him what I wanted. A week later it was all back together. I never test drove it, I just gave him the key and told him if he had any problems to give me a call. A few days later I got a couple of flat tyres on my car late at night so mother suggested I go ask Alf to drive me to the garage to get the tyres fixed. He just threw me the keys and sent me on my way. When you hit a bump at sixty the whole thing goes airborn and then the wind blows you where it will until you land again. When I took it back I asked him if he had noticed any difference in performance. He said yes but he never had it over 45 ,too scary.

As an afterthought. I think there's more room in an Isetta than a gt6.

wouldnt you be sitting on top of the motor in an isetta? plus i dont think itd be long enough to fit the tranny in afterwards

I had to look the car up to even know what it was. That car looks like one my dad told me about once. He was working at a warehouse and one of the secretaries drove a car like that. He said it's name that I can't recall, and described as three wheeled and the front opened like one big door. Apparently a couple of the workers in the warehouse decided to play a prank on her, so a few of them picked up the car and put in the bed of someone's pickup, or it could have been on a flat bed, but pretty sure it was a regular pickup.

How can you guys not know what that is? Steve Urkel drove that car!

In one episode he turned it into a 200mph dragster.

It looked something like this, not exactly though.

I bet it's scary doing a wheelie in that thing.

I think chronic is actually the problem. I hear they've got some really good stuff up in Canada, especially haida gwaii.

Two puffs and you won't work on your project car for a week!

No wonder there's no stress on the island! :icon_rofl:
