yup....i realise it's not a splash.....as far as i know,they didn't make 'em in 89.

it's been a long haul on those pics,i should know soon if it's a go or not.

and even if not,i'm not giving up....just postponing till the technology catches up with my budget.as the computer was out of my hands for a year(daughter had it)i have no idea what was done with it.
for all i know,it may not even be the same hard drive that was in it when she took it.an 18 year old living with a bunch of teens in a party house can have all kinds of wierd stuff going on.

the 89 splash was the concept seen in this pic:

note the tires...

as far as i knew, they only made one... i know there are pics of it in the complete history of ford book, that my dad has... it's this massive 1" thick and 2 foot by 1 foot book with pictures of almost every car ford built... i am pretty sure the mustang wagon was in there too...

i tought her some...she's now working in the auto wrecking business.her sister woks for canadian tire in the parts department.

this is the splash,it's one of the earlier pics,so it was still on paper.the pics of the next build on it were taken with digital,so are on the hd.

an interesting note about that parking lot...it no longer exists.that pic was taken on the mountainside above chehalis lake.a couple of years ago the whole mountainside slid down into the lake,causing a huge tsunami that ran way up the mountains on the other side.no one even knew it had happened for a couple of days as it was in the winter and no one was in the area.

had it been summer,the campground on the lake would have been full,as well as all the little spots around the lake where people camp.it would have been tragic.

BTW you can tell this isn't a real Z24 by the emblem, Z24s had a hollowed out red bow tie.

There always has to be someone come along and contaminate the thread.

i'm making one out of aluminum,it will be chromed.just thin vertical slats.
it's a pretty standard layout....licence plate in the middle,a vent on either side.
ya,there should be a big 'no chevys allowed' sign on the door.

Sorry for ruining a perfictly good thread I'll make up for it some how. That land slide sounds huge everyone was very lucky. On a lighter note there was some links for the 2012 Ford Focus, and Nissan GT-R that was cool to read on that site.

I can spot the 2wd in that picture.
