it's sometimes hard to justify pulling out a good motor to replace it with something else when you have so much more on your list. personally i'd do the axle swaps before the sliders.. but hey, that's me lol. looking back, i wish i would have done the axles before the motor swap (meaning axles would be first mod after body lift, which is now gone for RC 4 inch suspension)... but... you live, you learn. the 4.0 is awesome! i will say that.. but idk how hard it'd be to do a 2.8 to 4.0 swap. i'm sure you have looked into it. i gotta start designing my rear bumper. and yea i'm doing the flat part of the fender trim to..

so leak the plans for the bumper!

Do you have a link to the jeep coils you used? And how do they do on the street? Did you have to cut a coil out of screw with custom steering?

havent put em in yet, gonna cut off a turn and a half and ditch the spacers. they are superlift pn 550

mod money, prolly wont go as far as i would like

Gotta be careful with that kinda cash around Macon! Don't flash it around any more or it might end up missing.

I think that's the first time I've seen a first gen with a second gen bumper that didn't have the whole clip swapped. Didn't even know it would fit that way. It does look good though, makes me wish I had the 90 model my dad used to have.

Seeing how I grew up there what part of Macon are you in? I grew up on the Houston Rd. end of Hartley Bridge. As soon as I could afford to I had to get out of Bibb County.

yea i cant have a gun(s) at work, but i keep it in my rig...er well guns. macon is getting pretty bad. got robbed once and ever since then im toting. had a problem with macon popo once, got pulled over for speeding and went ahead and told him about the gun between the seats, told him i was about to get out. he threw me on the ground like i was a fawkn criminal, then gave me all this bs even though my permits and lisense to carry were valid and up to date. stupid fawks. im trying to move to nc pretty soon, but waiting until the summer months so it would be easier to transfer my job. im actually out towards juliette, so not really in macon, but i guess you would call it the "north side" of town

My grand mother lives up that way, she's almost right across the street from the entrance to Plant Scherer.

Wish you luck on that move. I wouldn't mind getting a little further away myself, but I actually like Georgia for the most part and for now this is where the job is at.
