Jon, you wouldn't happen to have a set of 35 balljoints laying around, would you??

rick, i think i have a set of brand new ones at the house i never used. Not positive if i already gave them away or not, but if not, pay the shipping and their yours

nope dont have any laying around that are any good i doubt....

got a little work done on the trailer tonight, got it insulated and got the ranger wheels on. starting to look better

a little work on the tongue, some new fenders, side racks for the kayaks and some paint and the outside will be done

the inside still needs a little wiring some shelving and some carpet and it will be ready for some camping

Cool idea on repurposing that trailer, I think that will work perfect for camping and will tow easily.
D44 arms look great, keep it up.

yea you guys know me stock just isnt acceptable lol, that what my biggest thing, something easy to pull that i can run 65-70 with on the highway wherever i want to go.

thanks man

comming along pretty good with the build. that trailer reminds me of the one i went SOA with 31's on that we'd tow to tellico and uwharrie back when i had the yj. i never was a big fan of huge drop hitches, plus i could actually take it down the trails(pintle hook)

thanks man

yea im going to have to rework the tongue to be able to pull it behind the ranger, im tempted to put a pintle hitch on it

do it. i love pintle hitches. yea they are a little loud but thats what they make radios and loud tires for. it actually allowed me to pull it down daniel and a few other uwharrie trails with no problems. loaded down full of tools, wood, and everything else. im wanting to build another 4ft trailer and do the same thing to tow behind the b2

i plan on building a small off-road/camping trailer. in my dreams it has a roof top tent lol...

is there alot of slop in the pintle hitch setup? i dont mind noise but dont want alot of jolting and slop

We have pintles on all the military trailers and trucks at work, there really isnt much slop in most of them and they are super strong and don't bind up, if I ever get a trailer I will use a pintle for sure.
