Seriously though, put a 4x4 block of wood under the beam and give 'er a couple good slugs with a big hammer. I think in total it took me 4 hits a side or something.
 
i tried but ill have to try again, i took the 3lb mini sledge to it but no evail...are you hitting dirrectly on top of the knuckle?
 
ive got one....just trying not to destoy everything
 
I used a 12lb sledge and hit the top of the ball joint stud. Worked like a charm.
 
sounds like a plan, fawker is siezed up good....
 
Give the beam some heat if it's seized that good.
 
yea i put a little on it with the 3lb, didnt budge...ill get it out

got them both off, added some more heat and threw a little back into it with the 3lb....


starting to clean up the driver beam to get the plateing and truss done

need more meat on ya bones....:D

still not sure if i like the truss yet so i havent filled it in, should i raise the truss up off the front of the housing for more rigidity or do yall think it will be fine down on it?
 
It looks to me like the pivot side should come down a little bit but then I see it wouldn't quite match up to the center of the ring gear. In other words: I got nothin' :dunno:
