the slo-vo build thread...

Yeah new ones will be at most surplus places. As far as condition well it just depends on what they were used for afterwards you know? I knew a few mechanics that just used them for tools. One thing is for sure, they can take a helluva beating.

I like the ammo cans. I've got one as a center console in the BII. :headbang:

Don't have any surplus places around here so I'll have to keep searching

did you check around FT Knox? Or Louisville? I am almost positive there is one around there, not to mention they have the surplus store inside the Shelbyville Flea Market

http://www.100dollarman.com/ammocans.html

This is a website for them... Seems like pretty good deals.

The guy that owns this place is on pirate, I don't know if he has any discounts for pirate members though. He might.

he doesn't, but his prices are super fair. Great guy to deal with. He was going to build me some H1 rims, but decided to just stick with the Centerlines

Haven't been in ft nkox in a long time, Louisville is a long drive just for that.... I'll check him out on pirate and see if I can't get a few

There is a surplus here on First Ave.

Hook me up! Lol what all do you have for sale off your build, I may be interested in A few things

Oh, For the right price I'd let a DANA44 go with ALL NEW STUFF to go in it. I hate to after all the work finding it and getting it. We can discuss it at TB.
You want the 5.13 for the 8.8 we'll talk that out too. The 5.13s for the 44 are Rick's sure you guys could work that out. I got some time, a War Brother is having back surgery and I'll be sticking around Trenton, KY to help him out like he did with my hip replacement. Probably going to be a year or more before I cand build anyway, got a hell of a road to clear through a bottom of mud and a ton of firewood to cut out of the way. And even when I am in Alabama retired it's only 180 miles from TB area, so I'll be around! Might have to get ya down to Alabama for some wheeling and good ole red clay running!!
I also have this problem of with the new hip I can't climb up so high, so probably sticking with 33s on the Ranger and BII.

I dont know if the surplus has any. I haven't been there in years. But the flea market is this weekend if you want to go look at those. They were pretty cheap if I remember, but they are all the size of the ones you have now.
