Just spent over 100 bucks getting all the bearings a seals i need to swap in the new axle. Also spent 100 bucks for a new alternator, shit died on me.

Oh yeah Im still runnin on bald 205/60/15's up front. No 31's anywhere. Least not that I can afford yet. I WANT TO FIX MY FAWKING TRUCK!!!!!!! WTF!, but it keeps breaking.

Also had to go ahead and install my wheel bearings, it got unsafe....hopefully I can get the swap donebefore they get any bad wear patterns.

Why would you pay $100.00 bucks for an alternator? They are usually 39 bucks at the big box stores.

have you lost your mind? An alternator for my truck at advanced auto was 99.95 Thats for a new one, Normally they run around 135 for reman before core.


By the way all of advances prices have gone up ALOT. my 6.99 bearings were 10 bux for the cheap ones. And the wheel bearing seals I paid like 2 or 3 bux for before were 6.99. The rotors I usually paid 35 bux for now are 50 bux. Its total BULLSHIT!

Cost of living I guess, but they forgot to give us our raise! That's why I like old muscle, alternator for the 67 stang 39.99 all day long Yes it is bull. But you can rebuild a starter easy as pie and a starter rebuild kit is super cheap!

I wonder if it is, an alt rebuild kit used to be cheap now. Guy at advance said they cost almost as much as a new alternator. Rediculous. I got my tires on, Ill get pics soon as I can, maybe tomorow.

Yes its true, they are sidewinders but have the exact same tread pattern as my plainsmen. Go figure that one out, neither is retreads. but yes 50 bux I paid plus all the drive to sirgoinsville, just north of rogersville. It was actually a nice drive. I only mounted two since they are the same and my rear tires are still goo, I will put the other two on other rims and keep two spares around. Oh yeah the front two are mounted on the blakc cragars and look awesome.

got some used 35s today with about 50% tread for 170. thought it was a pretty good deal! no more slicks!!!

Sweet, now it looks like I the next one for tires. Found a inner tube on line for 30. Froggy I called on those tires you got , but you must have just gotten them. Jim what's wrong with ur truck? I fixed my dents today and cut a 45 degree angle on the bottom of the back front fenders. I got a cu toff tool at HF for like 6 bucks! God I love that place. Tomorrow I'm gonna work on the blow by!

they're 35s bud. and for now just sticking with the same wheels cause I want them on. ill get new wheels eventually. its not high on the to do list for the bronco.
