Hey going back and re reading the thread I discovered I followed your advise!!

I found some good news and bad news today.. Good news the origional truck my 4.0 came out of has a 3.08 rear end and not a 4.10 as I thought... For the last 10 years give or take I thought it was a 4.10 and my 89 was a 3.73 thanks to a Haynes manual. (Thanks!) Bad news is it is an open rear end and not a LS.... but good news too is I have it and it is free!!

Stupid haynes manual had the specs and codes for the rearends.. All the codes were wrong! had I known I would have used the 3.08 years ago. I got all the Ford Factory manuals for a 92 Ranger and the 92 emissions and chassie diagnostics off Ebay now.. No more haynes for me...

If we can get the truck detailed in time we are going to enter her in a show Saturday...
Worked tonight on restoring the intake to it's luster before I sprayed degreaser on it.. Lesson learned no degreaser!! Also have to install new idler pulley, VSS, and battery tomorrow.. And reinstall the intake.. Wish us luck!!
Forgot to mention My wonderful girlfriend cleaned the interior today! looks really good!! AT A Girl Baby!!
