Kyle M's Ranger Rebuild

Not a bad idea.....you can get that stuff in different colors. Wonder how much it would take to do the whole truck?

id say it would take 2-3 gallons, alot of the cherokee guys do it

only problem i would ever see with it is that with the surface being rough it might be hard to get all the dirt off it...but when its a trail rig...who really cares anyways

I could use that rattle can stuff....that is what i did my 2 tone with and it held up great! Easy to touch up.....I guess we will see. I have some half doors to make too, so I wanna paint those the same color.

My family calls my truck the "Booger truck" since it is booger green, figure I might roll with that theme, just more exaggerated

yea my rockers are done in it also (whats left of them) it holds up pretty good but a good scrape from a rock would take it right off

i think when i get mine all done, or well a point that i feel like doing something i might go the hurculiner route

........Looking like it is gonna be blue and green for now....probably wait till next spring to do the painting. Thinking about spraying it lime green....whatever is cheap and scratch resistant:icon_twisted:

Look into Daytona Lime Green. That stuff looks soooooooo good on our trucks that it can't be beat! :icon_thumby:

Truck looks great man. Should be a beast when its finished.

Cant wait to finish collecting parts and getting started on mine.

Thanks! Good luck on yours!

Alright, I need some help.....93 ranger selenoid pictures please. I can't remeber how the wires should hook up, think I have it, it will run if I jump it but not off the key and I have to use starter fluid. The fuel pump doesn't run and odd part is when I was testing lights and blinkers, I hit the hazards and the starter took off everytime the lights were supposed to flash...WTF. Then I hit the turn signal, same thing. What do I have messed up??? It ran when I parked it and all I did was remove the harness in the engine bay, nothing inside. Do I have something grounded that shouldn't be? please help!!

Alright, got the fuel pump working, had to do a direct ground to the pump, so now it works. Turn signals still run the starter.....what am I missing? Where does the fuel pump ground, same as the blinkers?

HELP!!! LOL

dunno about the wiring but my trail truck is rhino lined and its awsome 4 the durability and cleaning (its done inside and out) but it does like to hold onto dirt more cause of the rough surface. and id keep it the green so its still looking like the original truck

....id keep it the green so its still looking like the original truck

I am leaning toward that, we will see

Still haven't got the wiring figured out, but it is stilling on all 4's! :yahoo: Can't wait to get it running so I can pull it out and see what it looks like!

looks clean bud, nice work!
are you talking about the starter solenoid? the starter cable runs to 1 main post, the 2nd main post has the positive battery cable and some misc other wires that will run right from the harness right next to the solenoid. on one of the little posts will be the red/blue wire for the ignition

how soft does the front end feel if ya push on it?...looks good

Yeah, but I think I have it figured out...some bad grounds I think. BTW, thanks!

It is pretty soft, but it isn't bouncy.....we will see when I get it running how it feels. I had to put about 400 psi in the shocks, but is still a little tall, might go down to 350 to 375.

Hell yeah man. The end is near!
