Yep, I am now a happily married man!!! With that being said, it was decided that we should pick up a B2 for her & get it ready to TRY to hang with mine.

We picked up this '85 B2 for $250

Plenty more pics to come as soon as I figure out how to make them smaller, all the other ones I tried to post came out super sized....

Didn't care much for the P.O.'s camo paint job.......added wheels & tires from r1hatman icon_thumby & started sandin'

Next on the list.....tear into the 2.8, it does run but smokes like a chimney...... ( update: Damn thing had almost 8 quarts of oil in it from P.O. Put it at correct level & no more smoke!!!!

If it's smoking, it's the valve seals. Easy fix. (Or you can just put in a 4.0 )

country.........What a difference the opening back glass makes!! What's cool is if you take the struts that hold it open completely off & leave 'em off, all you have is 2 nuts to remove to take the glass out....easy off, easy on!! Good luck on your search, I have one on my 84 as well as the 85!!!!

I am hoping it is just the valve seals but I really need to take a look at the internals. As it sits, the valve covers are reversed (oil fill valve cover is on the passenger side...) & the dipstick is showing app. 2 quarts above full.... The oil pan drain plug is located on the driver side, which I have never seen... Not to mention it is completely rounded off & it is on there so tight I haven't been able to budge it...

No 4.0 for me bro, 2.8 all the way!!

I'm actually thing bout cutting my hatch in Half and installin a tailgate for a split hatch.

i bet if ya drained the extra oil out it would quit smoking.....

someone i know overfilled his engine and it did this, we drained it and got it to the correct level and it was fine....

remember we still owe you a wheelin trip down in your neck of the woods, just let me know when and ya know i be there

Congrats on the wife!! I will be married myself a week from this Sat!! Mine goes wheelin w/ me too excpt she wants a jeep I'm gonna convince her to get an older B2 or Exploder!!!
