Mike's '93 4x4

Lookin good.

May I ask why the story is behind the no tint windshield that you mentioned?

Thanks superds, the story is that I personally don't like the tint band at the top and it just so happened this windshield was the cheapest out of all the Ranger windshields. I would have gone for the one that said RANGER but it was twice as much even my cost and I couldn't justify the price difference.

call that good student u got there and make him polish those rims lol
looking good mike. i like the look of the brushguard w/o side covers

Haha, I would but I just offered him something to do while he waited for something to do.

But I do have a line on this product that will make these rims polish right up shiny.

I use Meguiar's metal polish and a Mother's Powerball on my drill to polish my wheels. Works pretty good, you can check out the results in my build thread: http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91477

Cool, I never thought about there being an untinted version of the windshield available.

Interesting that you have a rubbing issue, I only have 2" coil spacers without body lift and I only have minor rub in on the back of my drivers side fender (same place as you)... assuming thats because of my jacked up passenger side leaf.... but thats another story.

Looks real good, keep it up, she's really coming along nicely

Truck is looking good, Mike! Personally, I kind of like that brush guard without the little doodads on the side.

I'm thinking it's because of my low back spacing rims or the fact I have an A4LD in the box on that side:D

So I was going to post pics of my truck with its new tires on the alignment rack but apparently my cell phone's memory card won't get recognized by anything. Shitty.

And the high idle... turns out my cruise control cable was binding up. It's getting the alignment finished tomorrow morning and the windshield in the afternoon. Just needs front brake lines and it will be ready for safety. When it was getting the ball joints done I got 2 new u-joints and almost the whole front end re-sealed. Soon.

Wow! Seems like I told you to check the throttle cable some where back there.. I was close huh??

I thought the A4LD was suppose to be under the truck Mike... I'm no mechanic but..... :icon_rofl: Seriously though You got the beast looking damn good.... I agree with Andres on the "doodads" stayin off...

So I drove the truck to work today, seems to have some sort of weird sensation of a pulsing under light acceleration. But I got one front brake line changed, damn NAPA got me two of the same side. Driving it to work again tomorrow to change the transmission shift modulator at lunch. Hopefully that should solve the SLAM into reverse and the sloppy 1st-2nd shift. Seems to hunt a bit for the right gear.
