My idea of a Shelby Ranger if there would have been one.

I work at a tire shop part time, unfortunately the big rim (20"-28") thing is extremely popular here, as i'm sure it is else where. I'm not sure how many people are familiar with Michigan roads, but they are horrid! We use salt in the winters and semi's are everywhere so our pot holes are a dime a dozen! It's incredible easy and common to bend a rim like that here, especially with the profiles people are running! On top of bent rims, the ride quality is just nonexistent! They ride like tanks!

People try to sue the counties for damaged rims.... it's just stupid to have such large rims!

I don't see how in the heck they fit.. Do they scrub? I see several cars like that on the highway and quite a few look like the wheels are warped.. Only one with a massive scoop sticking out the hood though!! I have seen how they bounce around.. I wouldn't want the ride... Hell people will sue for anything these days!

thats just wrong how you making out with the ranger man

It's at a stand still until I get the factory service manual and then I am going to pick up an o2.. Hopefully that will fix the running rich issue!!

This pic says it all.. No need for words really...

Saw this the driving to work 2 days after I installed my new CB Turbo Muffler!

People usually do lifts or extremely low profile tires to compensate for the rim. When people come in and ask about installing bigger wheels, I try my best to talk them out of it.

The ONLY thing I want to see a 22 or 24 inch rim on is a Kenworth, then it must be 22.5 or 24.5, I myself prefer the 24.5 with tall rubber.

I have 24's on one of my rigs (and it isn't a Kenworth or anything similar either) They are actually kind of small IMO. I got 28" "spinners" on another, again kind of small.

Mmmmmm, XTR groupo... I'm running full SRAM XO drivetrain. XTR would be good and light, though!

I totally agree man!! Any car/truck with those damn "dub" type rims look ****ing stupid!!! And dont get me started on the spinner crap!! I DO have 22.5 wheels on my work truck though-its an International 4300 beverage truck-like the ones that deliver beer! and soda!! Excep I deliver bottled water in mine!!
