I found a place that has explorer rear leaf brackets. Too bad they dont have the front bracket or I would be doing this rear end mod like you did.

LONG awaited UPDATE:

WOW.........its been a while since I updated this thread. SORRY!

Scrapped the 99, lil' more work than I wanted.

When my Son took over the black 94, I came across a black 95 that I tucked away & have been workin on a lil' here, & a lil' there........some pics of its progress>

When purchased, the guy had bought it for the bed & rear bumper:

Off to frame shop, horns bent just a tad:

Back from frame shop with NEW radiator support:

V8 mockup & radiator support mod:

Gutted the interior:

Rear suspension mod:

These shocks aren't permanent, just used em for now:
