My idea of a Shelby Ranger if there would have been one.

Multi, thanks for the feedback. However, my post should have read Gen2... Mines a 91'
Guess I need to start checking my late night postings twice... Its all your fault you know, Multi. If you hadn't had such a damn nice, well put together truck I wouldn't have stayed up so late to read all 58, er 59 now... pages of the build thread!!!

Anyhoo, might check into those 16x9s... my little Gen2 will need some sprucing after I yank out the 2.3 or the trans this weekend to replace that silly freeze plug in the back of the block. *hand to face*

See ya,

Lower right hand corner of the tailgate.

Really like this build, but have a question...in smoothing the tailgate, why did you remove the body lines? just kind of seems like it doesnt flow with the taillights/rest of body.

Thanks Bud! What body lines? all I did was weld a metal plate the exact same size as the aluminum XLT tailgate thingy...If I took any out they were already out with the factory trim panel screwed in place... I don't see any other way to flatten it... :dunno:

By the way, multi! Check out my latest project(s)!

Not bad for first actual paint job!

My new BII!

Sorry for the thread jack... haha!

You thread jacker you! Paint job looks damn good! A tad bit of training though..

1. Turn air pressure up
2. Get as close to the body as you can without chance of hitting it
2a Find a rythm and stick with it (think of it as a dance with the gun)
3. Move fast and keep the airhose out da way.
That is the way to a slick paint job.. oh you can also over reduce the last coat..

Is it just the one badge? If so I agree with tailgate
