i got a pm from mac. Basically got into a pissing match, first of all about being qualified to be nominated for the Off Road truck of the month when he (Honduars) doesn't have a 4x4.

That's bull sheeot! A 2WD can go off road, and when it does get stuck, it's MUCH easier to extract!

I think some people feel intimidated when they spend $$$ on their 4wd and get pissed at people with 2wd's that didn't put as much $$$ in their ride.

They somehow feel they are entitled because of the $$$ they put into their "baby".

yeah, internet forums have the habit of making people take them much too seriously. i once got banned from a motorcycle forum because one of the mods started selling a product through the site and i told someone how to accomplish the same thing without spending $300.

we still need to watch what we say and how we say it. and not take things too seriously

2wd's do not bury themselves deeper into the pit like 4wd's do, thus they are much easier to pull out of the mud.

I know a couple of guys that wheel lifted 4 cylinder 4x2 trucks, It's surprising what a good set of tires and a light truck will do for you. It takes alot more skill to wheel a 4x2 IMHO /thread jack

the platform is irrelevant. is the truck itself set-up, and modded for off-roading, or for street? that is the only question. is a trophy truck not considered an off-road truck merely because it is 2wd?
