Seeing those pics makes me miss my 89.It was a 350 swap, rode about that ride height. Will say multi watch for those jumpy maple trees (or was speed related) oh well thats what the ticket said.

Looking good Mulit!
So I'm not the only one that has jumping trees, mine was a Pecan though. Don't quite remember what happened, but it ended up with my 84 wrapped sideways around a tree.
would be hard to flare the bed a little and stuff an even bigger tire under there...would look good
as far as i can tell is effing amazing, need to black out the tails, and clear corners with HID's and it will be ballllin. great work looks amazing! oh and a kicker sound system.
I... can't... stop... looking... at... truck.
Must...stop. Continue... with... life... gaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Thanks Josh!! Man you and OS need to be careful around them trees!! As soon as I am done with the truck I plan on a road trip down your way.. There is a BBQ place in Byron I am going to hit up!! (if it's still there)
What's the name of the place, I'll see if it's still there. If you can't remember the name, where about was it at I'll check it out for you.
As for the trees, I need to learn that deer are softer targets than trees. It was dark out and from what I can remember as I came around a curve there was a deer in the road. Everything happened fast I think I remember seeing the deer, I remember the back tires sliding off the road, I remember trees flying by my passenger window. I remember thinking, "thank God I haven't hit one," next thing I know passenger side of my truck has tried to taco around a tree. Thinking about it afterward the only conclusion I can come to is I reacted wrong to seeing the deer. I must have tried to swerve and avoid it, the roads were slightly wet, cut the wheel to hard, tried to correct, the tires hit dirt, it was all over. After it went into the slide I think I probably tried to keep it from spinning but other than that there was nothing I could do. Lesson learned, when given a choice hit the deer not the tree. I'll post some pictures of it when I start a build thread for it's replacement. I'd like to say that it will be soon but things keep pushing it back, this time it is a busted hot water heater, Yeah! I get to spend the next day or two ripping out the old one drying everything up and installing the new one. There goes relaxing on my B-day.![]()
