Rule of thumb is... Typically september starts the new model year. As with everything else, there are exceptions.

There may also have been running changes to the truck. My old Nova was a 78 MY, but when I tried to put 78 engine mounts in it, they didn't line up right, I had to get 77 mounts.

It happens.

PM me the last 8 of the VIN and when I get back to work I'll put in MicroCat(the Ford parts look up). I'll get you your "model year" actual production date and even a build sheet if you are so inclined. I can do it easily but it would have to wait until Tuesday

Sure, I've had some American tourist come in so I know our edition works with American vehicles, especially since my '93 isn't actually a Canadian truck.

I'll look it up on tuesday for you too, PM the last 8. Looking up vehicles older than the 90's however doesn't work anymore with the latest update, I think with all the new models they didn't have the room. I can look up parts for the Fiesta

with a build date of 12/94 it should be a 95.

generally anything after 9/** is the next model year. you just have to look the VIN or emissions label to verify

thats what ive always heard the new models always come out in late aug early sept

yeah, I know how that is, my 03 was built 09/02 so i'm only 99% sure it's a 03, lol. Although 02-03 very little changed, 94-95 was a complete redesign.
