Stacks? What do you think

to get my rcovery gear out....or my spare axleshafts-driveshafts-steering parts out.....etc...etc...

What????????????? This statement doesnt make any sense to me... Thats a reason you'd cut a hole in the floor of your truck?? what?

Never, ever, ever, ever!! Those may be worse that fart cans on ricers.

i say yes i may be the only one but wtf all my wheelin rigs have had 1 stack i like um the loud and annoying my favorite

yes. utilize wasted space under bed....especially with a body lift. those parts are stored in areas to maximize bed space.

Why would you put all of your gear under the bed? Thats an un-convenient space that will end up being a pain in the ass to get to if you get stuck, and it will end up getting covered in mud and water...

I vote NO on stacks on a Ranger.

That guy driving should put a bigger dip in his lip, I wasn't sure if he had one in or not.

Alright, that's settled, we can lock this thread now.

I would say it pretty much makes your sliding rear window a deadly invitation...not to mention the noise that would probably be increased with it that close to the cab...

So...no...

Actually having the exhaust exit straight up really gets rid of a lot of the sound. Standing beside an exhaust stack is MUCH quieter than when you get on the same level as the outlet. I dunno about the exhaust gasses, the pipes on my tractors are slightly above face level and I don't notice any exhaust smell to speak of. At my sub 20 mph top speeds it comes out of the pipe with enough force to keep going up a good ways above my head. More speed and the turbulance of a open pickup bed might change that though.

Stacks are pretty much for show on a truck (semi or otherwise) there are tons of unglamorous diesel box vans running around with a simple turndown somwhere towards the middle of the truck. They seem to get along ok.

i know you heard this already but ill say it again NO!!!!!!!

Stacks? They are gayer than a dildo in your ass.

fail?

YOU HAVE TO BE BULLSHITTING ME!!!!
:shok:

un-convenient

whats that mean...is that like bringing a knife to a gun fight?

there are those among us here that travel days to wheel and dont like pulling their junk on trailers yet still like to adventure down trails with some sort of pucker factor..

there is nothing... NOTHING INCONVENIENT about having drive-shafts/axle-shafts or steering components at 3 am six hours from a paved road on a saturday or sunday... let alone parts store that would likely have to two day order what you need to get on the road....

but wait. isnt allot of a guy with a rig like this type of build in progress rig custom?

i dont know....but in my tiny tiny little mind .........

the double faceplant epic fail is not having essential parts because.....

:shok:

because.....:shok:

because......they might, and thats a big might speaking from experience here as my tranny cooler is under there too and my rig floats with 44 in tires on it.

BECAUSE these essential parts THAT ARE DIFFICULT TO PROCURE IN THE WILD.......could just end up being as dirty.... as the ****ING PARTS UNDER THERE THEY ARE INTENDED TO REPLACE??????

like its not a pia to change an axleshaft in the first place....whats a few more min fawking around to dig out some parts with the flashlight...

HOLY EPIC FAIL BATMAN...:icon_surprised:

thats like ASSCLOWN to the tenth power.:thefinger:

idk. i wouldnt have stacks on any pickup besides an old doge cummins, not even the newer ones no. but its your truck do what you like
