Ohh it wasn't long after the bed was installed. Did that when I did the explorer 31 spline 8.8 swap. Needed a way to mount my shocks and wanted them outboard mounted for more stability and that is what I came up with.

The fenders are just the stock 91 sheet metal cut out and flared a bit.

Or are you talking about the rubber fender flare? They are pacer performance flexy flares.
