I'll be relocating down there when I get back from deployment. Are there any good wheeling places in the area? Also, does anyone know of any good dirtbike trails?

Well, I'll be stationed at NAS Jax, but I don't know where I'll be living yet. A buddy of mine might be buying a house around Northside/Arlington, in which case I'll rent a room from him, but if that doesn't work out, I'm not sure where I'll be living yet.

Do any of you guys know of any areas with 45 minutes of the base where I can rent a small place with a garage?

i live 4 minutes from nas jax and yea theres 5 or six apt complexes around here with garages and houses for rent all over the place...dont move to arlington or the northside if you value your life very ghetto up there

anywhere between 650-1000 depends on how many bedrooms but im not sure i refuse to live in a n apt again haha you can get a house up here for 700-1400 with garages thats what im doing 3 bedroom 2 bath with garage on a lake for 1000 a month

commute to where? if you commuting straight to nas jax its only one road youll be traveling us 17 traffic isnt bad till you get to wells rd itll be bad for about a mile or two but its usually pretty straight forward i work in green cove its a real nice place

Yeah, it's a commute to NAS JAX. Sorry, I should have specified that.

That makes me feel better about this place. Now I just have to learn to ride a motorcycle in the rain. No way in hell am I doing a 26 mile commute every day in a truck that gets 12 mpg.
