Anyone know where to grab a complete harness, or have one to get rid of? im looking to make the swap, but i am not having any luck finding a harness with the proper plugs. I'm trying to get everything together before i start tearing things apart haha.

I got mine from the bone yard from a 1984 four cylinder ranger you can buy the connectors from advance I believe or you can use spade connectors and make your own you only need 4 wires 3 for the distributor and one for the coil the ignition should plug right in 2 wire oval. If you find one at the wreckers try and cut the green wire as long as possible

Plugs are at napa, the part numbers are in the duraspark write up in the tech library.

don't need plugs or a wiring harness. you can connect the ignition box and distributor to your factory wiring with a roll of new wire, a soldering gun, and some solder.

i used wire with red insulation, because thats what i had. little tape, some heat-shrink tubing, and i had a brand new wiring harness

Hello

When I did my B2 I grabbed 2 sets of wires and plugs ins from the junk yard. Then you can make your own custom harness to the size where you want to put your box. Then if you blow your box up its easy to take it out and change it. Do not hard wire it. Read this http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/2_8Duraspark.html

alrighty, i overlooked them in the tech write up. thanks again for the ongoing help fellas. i'm brand new to this whole remodeling/ rebuilding stuff so it's much appreciated.

4 cyl rangers with the Duraspark system are easy to come by. That's what I got mine off of. The disty I just bought new (reman) from advance.
