Just Plain Stupied

M M ...........congrats on being the 2,000th post!

A shiny new Corvette should be arriving at your front door any second now with Ed McMahon driving it......ohhh wait....that was the meds talkings again....sorry!

I would be kind of worried if a Corvette pulled up at my door being driven by a recently deceased celebrity.

But what I will keep doing is checking into this thread for more info, laughs and pictures of dingos!

R U sure about cutting the shock/spring tower like that? As a younger and more foolish man, I had a 65 Dodge Dart stuffed with a cammed 340. She popped off those shock towers real fast when I hit some major bumps.

my internet was so slow last nite...it took me 45 minutes to post a few pics...

yep...I put wipers on it a few months ago, but didn't want a wiper blade in the pics...

If I had one of those mini-cams....they do have some confused looks....LOL

V8 badge....it's hokey...but it fits....

the shock tower notch is smaller than it looks...+ Ford builds things a little tougher than others (I would have done it differently if I even thought it might fail later on)needs to be dressed up and a support brace needs to be welded across the open gap to be sure....thanks for reminding me....

I'll repeat...'m amazed at the smoother ride (I'm still trying different pressures in the front versus rear shocks....I can even get it to HOP again, iffin I want to make my wife get fired up...LAOM (laff all over myself)

I'm still not used to people honking at me....errrrrr.....the '36/'89 Ranger

firing up the wife huh? your a brave man DG.

hows the progress on the projects?

You did a very cool thing building that truck and deserve the attention. Be proud: wave back like the Queen of England.

A support brace welded across that gap would certainly do the trick.:icon_welder: That was aluminum plate for the box, right? Makes for a pretty light back end? Maybe put the 2.9 back there for weight?:icon_rofl:
