Jan 17th Turkey Bay

Well I'm in the market for a BII .............. my brother needs a 4x4 and he has his heart set on mine, so I'll either sell it to him or find him and find me a non-runner cheap or find him one a little nicer.

Still getting amped up to build "SOMETHING" it's all still go, just gotta find a BII for one of us now.

Frank

Glad to hear you finally got your truck fixed, now its time for mine to get into surgery so it can recover and get back on the road....I don't think I will put the twins on it just yet, gonna get it rollin for now...
SVT

I was glad to get it going, I would have gone crazy with all this snow & no B2 to play in.....:icon_twisted:
Get that Ranger rolling.......

Those tires do unbelievable in the snow & ice mix we got here, I can't get used to the tread pattern because I am used to having deep mud lugs....it looks a little different but they are really good tires for street & snow! :headbang:

Thanks again man!! I am STILL working on getting the pics up from the run, they should be up tomorrow night...

:icon_cheers:
B2

hey Allen, glad they did good for ya....yeah, they are great A/S tires for the road .......trail, not so much....though in dry conditions at TB i think they would do fine on the rocks:icon_thumby:

Still hoping to post some pics of T.B. tonight.......:dntknw:

I will have some pics up with the 10.50s on also, I'm used to a wider, bias ply mud tire.....it's definitely a difference...:shok:

EDIT: By the way, still looking for a good deal on diffs......:3gears:

Let me know what kind of deals you can find if you don't mind, I'm trying to get things together!! :icon_bounceblue:

will do...im probably gunna either get one from here in town at YPP or in evansville at glissons...both should be pretty cheep

Jon, keep your eye out for a 99+ 3/4 ford van rear axle....D60 with factory disc brakes....if you find one at a yard let me know, I may have you get it for me...do you know if the transmissions at those JY's run more than $50?? if they do, how much more??
SVT

not sure ill have to hit up my price list in the truck...

there is one of those rear axles on a van at YPP but the housing is busted but the brakes were still there and good

what are you looking for a trans out of?

My pull a part's price on the trans is $50...if the brakes off that axle are a full float axle, grab em and let me know what I owe you, I want backing plates, caliper brackets and calipers, e-brakes, rotors, the works...Depending on what I find, I need a harness/ECU from a 96-97 V8 explorer, accessory drive system from any V8 explorer, and a 4R70W IF I can get the ECU and harness, otherwise I need to get an AOD, as the ECU I have is an A9L (mustang ECU with manual trans), so I need a trans that don't need a computer to run it...
SVT

Hey Jon I think the trans are 99.95 in a 4x4 and the axles are 59 or 69 i cant remember. Let me know if you need any help. I can rum up there about anytime friday and saturday

Ill try to get pics tomarrow frank.....
