"Ranger don't" list.

Don't let your friends fart out of the rear sliding window; it will instantly smell like ass inside the truck.

Don't double gasket your oil filter.

Don't turn around in an old corn field on your own private property, with a truck you have yet to fix the four wheel in. You will sink up to the bed and freeze your butt of while starving to death.

Also, Don't call a friend with a v6 2wd sierra to pull you out, he's useless.

As most GM owners are :icon_thumby:

I respectfully disagree about all GM owners being useless. He may have been useless in that situation, but that's about it.

Now, what if you needed help moving and that SAME Sierra driver showed up? Would he still be useless then?

Well in my situation he's my best friend. Love the kid to death. It has street tires, peg leg rear end, no gear, and I was about 50 feet from any true solid dirt. I called him, his dad has a turbo diesel 04 sierra 4x4 HD, badass truck. He shows up with his regular cab 2wd truck, no straps, no food, no water, didn't bother to bring me a jacket. Then when I'm trying to dig it out, he doesn't have any idea what to do. I wasn't mad then, and am still not mad about it, makes me laugh really lol. Just remember him showing up with absolutely nothing to help me, and he walks over there and just goes.. "so whats up". LOL... essentially showing up because I was out there and so I wasn't alone in the woods with the bobcats and possums lol. He helps me with his truck when I didn't have one, and vice versa. It's all good. Just useless in that particular situation

Okay. In the back of my mind, I thought this was going to turn into a nasty "Ford Vs. Chevy" thread. Next time you call him, specificaly say "BRING YOUR DAD'S TRUCK!!!!"

Don't blow up an inner wheel bearing.

Don't ignore it if you do.

Don't drive to work on it cause you can't find a ride.

Don't destroy the threads on the spindle.

And don't use a 750ft/lb impact with a spindle nut socket to pull out the carnage.
oops...

-Don't leave 5 speed ranger on hill running with no e-brake unattended.

-Don't pull another ranger with no brakes and still wounder why it's still coming at you after you stop.

- Don't try and remove your gauge cluster with a short temper...

Dont try to remove the original oxygen sensor with a 12 point socket....it'll strip out and you will have a HELL of a time getting it back out.

Don't buy a b2 for a parts truck, some guy with a b2 will crap in a paper bag, light it on fire, and throw it on your porch.

Frank

Don't hit your buddy in the front seat in the stomach with the back of your hand. Because he is laughing his @ss off at you for getting pulled over, for doing a burnout right in front of a Cop. Because if you hit him in the stomach he will throw up on the floor.

Try explaining all this to a 22 year old punk cop at 2 am when you are leaving work late after pulling a 12 hour shift. He swore he saw us come out of a bar.
I refused to take the roadside test or blow in his breathalizer. He wanted to arrest me and take me to jail. So I said go right ahead and I demand a blood test! So during this time his backup pulls up and talks some sense into him and they let us go. I had to drive the rest of the way home with the stench.

Just don't do them near light poles :D

friend in a grand am....stayed away from light poles...but found his way through a school fence and onto the NEW softball field that stopped renivations from 4 other sports....

thanks for ruining my senior year...ha. :annoyed:

do NOT make and weld your own "motor mounts" using chain link.......bad things happen that result in lots of money cost and excessive swearing
