old people keep unplugging my truck

Yeah, but I don't live in an area where it gets terribly cold, no one here uses block heaters except the diesel guys who are just over the top, even my little sister (who was confused by the need to rotate tires since they "rotate when you drive") knows what a block heater is for.

Ok let me rephrase that. Noone within 1000 miles of anywhere I have ever lived would need to use a block heater

You could also take something that would be an irritant like pepper spray (mace) or something else and spray on the cords for the next person who grabs it. Just don't forget to put a glove on before you unplug them.
Heh, reminds me of a bathroom trip after cutting up habaneros, trust me, wear gloves LOL.

followed by loosening the valve in A tire just to be a PITA
No no no... you take 4 pieces of 1" tubing, cut them to about 3" tapered off to a sharp end, put them behind all 4 tires. Instant four rims on the ground... or so I've heard :D

My sentiments exactly. Good luck! :D

Ok, the second part of my first post was not directed at matt, it was a general statement of intent.

The second post, where I mention my sister, was not meant to make him feel inferior, it was meant to say "I thought this was one of those things that everyone knows."

Thirdly, where I come from, the only way I was ever taught to teach someone something was to first make fun of them for not knowing it, and then tell them about it (the information had been provided in intervening posts). I've never know any other way to teach stuff. Its a cultural thing.

Matt, I'm sorry if I really hurt your feelings that badly.

Now lets all get back to being mad at the person unplugging the truck!

I sure enjoyed reading through all these posts, it has brightened my day. I hope Nathan finds the culprit(s) and advises them that he has been video taping their activity and in the event of damage to his truck they will have the opportunity to explain their actions to a judge or maybe 2.
1 for criminal mischief and the other for the cost(s) of the damage they have done, engine repairs, loss of wages due to time lost or whatever inconveniance to his life plus punitive damages. You can bet the crap will stop immediatly.
Years ago when I lived in Chicago we had some fairly severe weather for a few days and I did what we did when I was in the army. Cover the engine with an old blanket and put a 100 watt lamp under the engine or a 150w flood. It works just fine but, you have to remember to remove the blanket.

I never flipped a bitch about it man but my crew didnt like your tone:icon_rofl: .

I get ya. forget about it.

Try an AC disconnect alarm (like the emergency lights in a public building). Only change the light to a train horn. I'd advise you get some CPR training before you do this. You may also want to bring a friend with you if it goes off. That way he can get the mouth if you have to perform CPR LOL

Just think, in 50 years you'll be worried about someone unplugging your IV drip or unplugging your respirator. Things could be a lot worse!
