Everytime I see someone driving a ranger I always wave at em. We should all wave at our fellow ranger drivers because we are like a brotherhood lol

Not very many people wave back at me though...:icon_confused:

Maybe it will catch on eventually...

I wave at everybody that doesn't drive a car or van :P

as long nobody shoots...
people isnt that aware that a ranger is becoming an icon
few people like em as we do, most just drive em and thats it

most people that drive rangers around here dont really maintain them. there is one kid though ive seen a few times who understands the ranger thing

Yeah, I mean an old Ranger that's lifted, maybe they would understand. I don't think I can tell a newer Ranger from a Toyota whatever or an S10 at first glance.

My truck doesn't look like a Toyota............
and I wave at everybody.... it's what we do round here ya'll understand?

Now when I go to the city I get temp. carpel tunnel syndrome and made fun of by my passengers because we wave at everybody out here!!! because odds are your there neighbor, lol.

But even in Detroit or Nashville, fellow Ranger drivers still get the ol' pointer middle finger flip.

I don't do it to stock ones because people whom drive stock don't care...

Now....if I see a modded one or something special like a 03 LII, that's when I wave or say hi or whatever....that's actually how I've recruited a few folks to the forums and real friendships formed. At my old job I'd have a regular waver.....til one day, he pulled over and waiting for me to turn into my work drive way. was pretty cool. Yellow 01-03 edge with BL and 33's and a tubular front bumper.

wow thats nice! i did recruit my brother and a couple friends to own rangers :headbang:
as for worked rangers on the street i do the nod head salute or the :icon_thumby: and usually 9 of 10 salute back :D

Of course, there's times I'm being a total dork waving at every ranger seen driving by too. hahaha.

I always wave at rangers owners and say "nice ranger buddy" (its almost exactly those words) then I realize they didn't hear me, and rarely wave back...haha

I'm gonna start doing this.

I've done that on occasion. the Parking division of the Concord, NH PD has a nice '03 Ranger. I crossed paths w/ the officer and we chatted about our respetive work/personal trucks. As it turns out, his DD is also a Ranger. Lucky dog!
