We just saw a Chevy dealership up in Ames that had that too with a new Silverado, only they were going off of a big rockpile ramp into the air. I thought it was a pretty neat idea for a display really.

Until recently a car lot north of town had a '70's Camaro on the roof of their building. It was yellow and had huge mags like the one from the Transformers. Its been gone awhile, I imagine someone made an offer on it.

Have had nothing but bad luck with Chevy's. For the same mileage, the Ranger has yet to even have one minor break down. The Regal & Blazer on the other hand have had their fair share of time on the flat bed truck.

As for the Dodge Cummins, great engine, okay truck. Will take a beating.

Besides, I got Ford's enginners thinking down. Their design is pretty simple. And if I need to, I can grab my tools and fix almost everything myself.

As for the Chevy truck in the pic. Gotta them a round of appluase. Thats pretty creative.

i used to get into the chevy vs. ford arguements until i worked at a garage for a while and i came to the conclusion that every car and truck on the road is a piece of shit, they ALL break down, every one will blow a transmission, each one could be a lemon and be nothing but problems, eventually every one will be junked and turned into something else, so now when i go look at vehicles for sale i look at how the owner took care of it, not what brand, im just loyal to ford because i think they have better style......and better engineering an some of their vehicles......

same here, my k5 is always haveing some sort of problem, right now the throttle is sticking,carb is skrewed up and no matter what it refuses to have a spark. hence the reason i bought my 89. im thinking of parting my k5......im sick of dumping money into it for repairs and fuel.

those other things im gonna have to give to my friend whos a chevy nut, the only ford he owns is a 64 galaxie hes turning into a Dukes Of Hazzard police car

I have to disagree on the points....From my experiences with old engines, they are usually easier to get parts for and you can usually MAKE them work if you have to...My points file sees alot of use.

The 350 can be ok...what gets me is how long these companies went before they decided to replace/upgrade these old engine designs.
