question what rpm should a ranger idle at ?

cause my is idleing at right round 1000 rpm

:icon_confused::i

When I start mine it chills at around 1500 for a couple minutes and then works its way down to 750-1000.

i start mine and it spikes up to 2k rarely, but then settles at around 1,000. any way to change it, if it's worth a change?

The computer controls the idle. There's a screw that would make you think otherwise, but it's function is to set the base idle voltage for the TPS sensor (don't screw with it :)).

Sounds like you might have a vacuum leak IMO.

Idle speed should be marked on a sticker under the hood.
