where can i connect my remote wire other than the head unit for some reason my head unit remote wire dont work so i have my remote connected to constant and its a pain to remove the wire from the amp every time i step out of my truck.. someone please help

anything thats hot when the key is on. using a fusetap on the radio circuit would one quick and easy way to do it.

just run it off the red wire on your wiring harness for your head unit

Yeah, anything hott with the key on will work..like the ACC Red wire..

Or, just toggle switch it.

Wiring to red/acc wire

Advantage: Don't have to worry about turning off toggle switch
Disadvantage: Amp is always on when truck is running, even when head unit isn't on

Toggle switch

Advantage: You can turn amp on/off whenever you want
Disadvantage: You have to remember to turn it off when you turn the truck off, or else you'll get a dead battery

Wiring to Red/acc AND putting a toggle switch on it

Advantage: You can turn amp on/off whenever you want AND don't have to worry about forgetting it on
Disadvantage: NONE.
