not to threadjack but whats the difference between the manual lock and auto. with the manual do you have to put it in 4x4 from the outside?

Correct....sort of. You still shift the transfer case into 4x4 as usual, but the front wheels won't engage until you lock the hubs. Manual hubs are less convenient, but more reliable.

I agree 100% I love the exterior styling, but the interior is pretty plain and there's nothing fancy about it.Rangers arent luxurious in any way shape or form
