are these rare?
the ad says its good for a restoration project, 200bucks comes gets it, about 3 hours away from me
Danger06Ranger told me to get it..but i need second opinions lol

They are pretty rare, but I doubt they are collectible. I personally have never seen one in person. A quick look on eBay shows no listings for Diesel Rangers in the United States. If you want a rare ranger than go for it, but if you want something collectible that you could make a profit off of I wouldn't bother. Another thing to consider is parts might be hard to find, I'm sure somebody will chime in on this.

not looking for something collectible, just something i can use as a project for 2 years until i can legally drive then drive up the road and be one of the whole town

i think the big draw back would be trying to find the parts for it

but a diesel would be nice

Parts are hard to find and expensive. They were a Mitsubishi diesel engine.

thanks man and if i go to look at it and it seems ok for 200 im gonna drag it home

I was told parts are pretty easy to find, you just need to find a Mitsubishi parts catalog. Apparently they put those diesels into alot of things overseas. Shipping might be a little harsh, but they are out there. I'm sure you could find some easier if you ask around in the right places.

the parts are quite easy cause all these mitsubishi vans that are right hand drive are still usein the same block i herd i own a 86 diesel 4x4 and i got another complete block and everything else i got just for parts but there is a guy in Coombs british columbia on vancouver island that can get parts so i've bein told its coombs country sales or somethin but the other company he owns next door i know is express custom trailers call and ask for tony not sure on number have to look it up

I was wondering the same but the whole entire harness would have to be rewired, if not all mechanical parts.

The parts are there, and they are abundant. You just have to know where to look. Central Europe is a good place to start.
