I just found out my grandpa has a pair of d60s from a late 80s ford laying around and wants nothing more than a day or two of bitch work for them.... gotta love farmers who never part with their "junk".

I really want to, I just want something that I can really beat on and have fun. Then I can keep the ranger a little more mild for a dd. Ive been looking all over for information on what a swap like this entails.
I was thinking of going leafsprung front and rear for simplicity and cost at this point. I also dont know how my drivetrain will hold up or if I will have to swap out the tranny/tcase too?
