Does anyone know where to get it? ive never seen it anywhere but i know they make it.

good luck. ive only seen it on the Motorcraft site. the local Ford dealer doesnt even carry it.

i havent even found a place that sells it online.

High milage oil, what does that mean?

Is it made for High milage vehicles, or is it made for extended oil changes?

Why do you want motorcraft oil? Just curious =p

its made for high milage vehicles i didnt know motorcraft made that why would you want it? because its ford engineered and thats whats recommended

really im just a Motorcraft guy. and its engineered by Ford specifically for Ford vehicles so that cant hurt either

Oils designated "high mileage" usually have various additives in there such as seal softeners that make older, brittle rubber seals "plump up" a bit to reduce oil leaks around rear mains, valve covers, etc.

The only down side to this -- if you stop using these oils with the additives the seals will generally shrink up worse than they were before because they've stretched and all the dry-rot cracks have now expanded. It's a great marketing ploy really... use our product and it works... HAHA!! now you have to keep using it or your problems get worse!

Yeah, the same thing with TransX, should be labled "use before you SELL!"

Products do nothing than delay the expected, and too many suckers buying these vehicles, then have problems.
