pretty sure that qualifies you for the intermodular distortion along with the fact that you bought used drivers. Buying used drivers are like buying rental cars.

They are all 8's and it was all new equipment. Bottom of the barrel on price and quality. It was a fun project though. It sounded way better than I thought it would. It was about all I could afford when I was 18-19 years old.

nonthing wrong with buying used drivers. you just have to be picky. ive made a used gear purchases. one was a pair of oldschool soundstream 8's. another was a set of dls ms6a components. both sellers were some big audiophiles and the gear was in mint condition. they both agreed that the gear would not be DOA.

I don't know why it looks blue in this picture, it was more of a grey, just a weird shade in comparison to the interior. The vinyl was on the discount rack at the fabric store.
