Hokay, so, I hit a tree. f'ed the B2 over! I got going too fast and when locked in the front she dont turn very well! We went diggin' up in hogs hollow and just barely got started when I had to hit a tree! It would have been hokay but it bent the frame and radius arm drop brackets beyond reasonable repair:thefinger:, so we take a 300$ BII with a blown tranny and start swapping stuff:icon_welder:(the very next day:headbang:) Little red isup and going now and will soon be lifted!!:gears:

man i wish i had your talent... You make it look almost to easy to swap engine and body-parts like that lol. Too bad for the wreck but you look like you got over it quickly :icon_thumby:

Yeah, got a few '69's here, there's a Boss 302 in the shop ;) Hey man it's easy, all nuts and bolts, just take 'em off and put them back on :icon_welder:
My brother and I had the red one up and running in 2 days, used the motor and tranny from the black one, both reuilt :icon_hornsup:

Damn you rebound quickly! The rebuild looks fun...if only we all had a second vehicle to pull parts from!

Looks good...have new pictures of the newly running red rig?

Thats when I first bought it, Nice and ugly and not runnin too well, hey c'mon for 300$ can you ask for more? I did a quik bedliner job wich looks better than i though it would and she is soon to be lifted and locked with 456 gears!:icon_hornsup:

Heck you should have parted out the smashed up one. The axles and stuff were still good, weren't they?

Well I kept the axles, Lift, shocks, tires the whole banana sandwich, all that went to the wrecking yard was the body, not worth anything really....

Yeah there are a lots of nuts and bolts, just get some air power and an impact :headbang: and maybe ratcheting wrenches, best things ever invented

But, there are just so many.

That's me ------->:dunno:

Naw, it seems daunting, believe me I was once just like you, terrified to touch anything. But heck, now I start projects WAY too late in the evening and always get them finished.

Not scared. I get side-tracked easily.

Send one my way, looking for a 69/70 plain sportsroof to build the way I want to. Almost impossible to find one around here thats not rusted to nothing, or ungodly priced :annoyed:

I could send a coupe, sportsroofs are a little harder to find..... Go to arizona, new mexico or texas, best areas to find one. All the ones in so cal are gone or over priced, The 302 was is montana, middle of nowhere:yahoo: Where are you? I'm in nor utah
