I've seen a few used stepside beds on ebay was wondering if I could get a new one. If so from where and for how much?

lmc truck has some but your looking at a good penny. I am guessing your old one has damage to it.. and if so were at on the bed.. i need a passenger side panel.

I have a styleside with damage to rear passenger side. $1,000+ to fix. I like the look of the stepside. Just lookig to see how much more I'd have to spend to change.

if you have a welder...... it's not hard... it's mostly the entire bed!! I'd suggest getting a stepside from ebay and doing the body work to that then paint it... it'd be easier and POSSIBLY cheapier to do.... make sure you get the tail lights in case they are different..... you never know.

I don't have a welder nor the room to work on a bed. Living on a corner lot with no backyard limits what I can do. I'm going to check a few body shops around here to see what they could do.

Thanks for the help.

I priced one at a local Ford Dealership where a buddy works, got the price with his discount and it was... $3600.00 WOW :shok::icon_cheers:

Best to locate a used bed off of the web and I think from my searches there are a couple in FL.

Do a web search on "Ranger Stepside beds".

Luck

I'm still looking. Searches have turned up a few the lowest being $700. I'll have to drive there and see the actual condition. In the end it will cost me more than the $1,000 to fix mine just sure how much over $1,000 it will be.

And to think that the Junkyards up here are letting them go for 100 dollars a pop.

Maybe you should line up a few, could make some money.

i would look at a junkyard , and i do not know that you can weld them , because mine is fiberglass , and it is a stepside
