You don't need MS for 450-ish RWHP. A MAF conversion with the EEC will get you there just fine.

Yeah but by the time you buy/find a nice big maf, and buy all the EEC tuner stuff, you pretty much could of bought megasquirt.

I plan on computer mods being the next step for my turboranger. But right now I'm focusing on buying a house and getting married. So right now the ranger will have to wait. It's enough work keeping the sploder going as a DD.

After using MS, I wouldnt ever even touch an EEC with a tuner, theres no point. Some people use the EEC tuner for fun, because thats what they're into. MS is a whole lot better for tuning and you can get away for under $400with an MS and a wideband.
