3.2 vs 3.o

Dumb question #1

I just bought a 2001 Ranger with a 3.2 V6 engine. I don't see any reference to that in the material I've read. Is that the 3.0 or 2.9 or something unique and unmentionable?

Most likely the 3.0. The 2.9 was discontinued in 1992. Where does it say 3.2?

no 3.2's in the rangers. that year, its either a 2.3, 3.0, or 4.0.

you must have had the same salesman I had. He kept telling me it had the "duratech" 3.0L engine.

I then asked him if the second camshaft was in the glovebox. Many times the salesman is just reading what the window sticker says and doesnt know one thing about the vehicle.
