35s

funny this came up cause i was looking in the RBV gallery, And saw a guys truck that had 38" tires with 3.73 gears. Is that Possible?

I could roll 54's under my truck and put 2.73's in the diffs, just because it's there doesn't mean it works, or is right.

not really, but yea it would work, just be a gutless pos until you regeared it, ever drove a toyota with stock tires? lmao about like that.

when i had 31's with 3.73's my truck had no problems but when i put 33's on it, lets just say it was unfunctional- when i tried to burn out on gravel the truck would just stall out :icon_confused: . i then switched to 4.88's and it cruzes fine, has a little trouble on the mountain highways of colorado, but i can only top out round 70-80 or so before i run outta RPM's. i think my power is limited by the all mighty crappy 2.8L.

I'm currently running 35s with 3.27 gears on my explorer. haha, talk about slow

Ive got 33's with 3.5somethings and it brings the suck. 5th gear is useless unless your doin 75+. Ive heard that with 33's 4.56 is comfortable, and it at least needs to be 4.10, so with 35's your going to need alot more than that.
