my brothers 5.0 mustang that runs 11s gets nearly twice the MPG of my b2. remember easy on the gas and shifting like an old lady makes a huge difference. FYI we weight in within 500lbs of each other.

I'm not saying it wouldn't get better gas mileage. But we've all seen threads by little miss sunshine. I doubt she knows how to really keep her foot off the skinny.

from what ive seen...most of the 302/5.0 swap guys are still getting about 20 MPG out of their trucks.

of coarse, most of the 2.3 turbo guys are getting 24+ and putting down bigger numbers than a small block...

Ugh...and my damn 4.0L gives me a best of 15mpg lately, can't wait to attempt 30mpg with the 4bt....

4.0's can do better than 15 mpg. If I run stock tires and drive like grandma, I can average 21 mpg in my ex.

Mine used to, but I lifted it a foot and added wide tires and a lotta weight....and I'm stuck with 15mpg.
