Coleman Liquid Fuel

Really it is kind of funny they made the lanterns as long as they have.

I also have a Kero, it is a lot of fun.

For some reason Kohls of all places was having sales online for this stuff a few years ago. I snagged a new 533, 288 and whatever the kero is for pretty decent pricing.

I don't know when the last time was I saw a liquid fuel anything for sale in a store. I wonder how much longer the liquid fuel stoves will hang on.

That's kinda funny that Kohl's was selling Coleman stuff. I have never seen anything other than clothes, bedding, shoes and some kid's toys in there but admittedly it's not a place I shop at very often.

Not sure on the stoves, I bet they hang on for a bit yet. It's not like you can power a stove off a battery like you can with a lantern. Coleman fuel just works so well at high elevations and in the cold that I will keep using it as long as I can.

It was a online thing, I only caught it because of Coleman facebook groups lol.

I've been stuck in the stores enough times to vouch that they would never actually put anything that cool in a brick and mortar store.

I know about the cold and high elevation thing... but like nobody stocks them. Unless you know the difference and seek it out online nobody is even going to know they exist after a certain point.
